Bernadette Lopez is an experienced advocate who devotes her practice to a broad range of complex business disputes with a particular emphasis on fraud investigations. Bernadette is a 2006 graduate of the FIU College of Law, where she earned a Juris Doctor degree, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. While in law school, Ms. Lopez was the Managing Editor of the FIU Law Review. Bernadette is a member of the Florida Bar.
Jalaine Garcia is a litigator who devotes her practice to complex commercial litigation and appellate litigation in both state and federal courts. Ms. Garcia has represented clients in a wide variety of matters, including securities fraud, professional malpractice (accounting and law firms), class actions, business torts, director and officer liability, contractual disputes, and antitrust cases. Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Ms. Garcia was counsel at Kenny Nachwalter, P.A. and in-house counsel at the University of Miami. Ms. Garcia is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Ms. Garcia earned her J.D. from the University of Miami, where she served on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Psychology, Public Policy and Law. She earned her B.S., cum laude, from the University of Florida.
